Ozarks Food Harvest added local Arvest Bank executive Jason England to its board of directors.
Jason England, president and CEO of Arvest Springfield, recently was appointed to the board, according to a news release issued this morning.
“We’re proud to add Jason’s knowledge and expertise to Ozarks Food Harvest’s board of directors,” said Kenny Ross, Ozarks Food Harvest board president and Ross Construction Group LLC vice president of sales, in the release. “As families continue to face hunger in southwest Missouri, we will need community leaders like Jason to help us achieve our goal of ending hunger in the Ozarks.”
England, who previously served as executive vice president and loan manager for Arvest Springfield, was promoted to the top role this summer, according to past reporting.
The release pointed to his civic experience, including board work for Show Me Christian County, the Bentonville School Foundation and the NWA American Heart Association.
England is among 13 board members for Ozarks Food Harvest, which provides more than 20 million meals annually.
Earlier this year, Ozarks Food Harvest added four other board members: Jim Admire of Kraft Heinz, Genevieve Carvel of Positronic Industries, Holly Gray of Heim Young & Associates Inc. and Ashley Kimberling-Casad of CoxHealth, according to the release.
“Our new board members bring a wealth of knowledge to assist our organization,” said Bart Brown, president and CEO of Ozarks Food Harvest, in the release.
