A Korean street taco restaurant has closed after operating for three years.
Kung Fu Taco, located at 3354 S. National Ave. in Medical Mile Plaza, announced its closure in a Facebook post yesterday.
"Thanks for supporting us. Thank you for all the years we operated in business," the post reads. "Our lease is over and we decided not to renew. Please support local businesses."
The restaurant serving tacos, rice bowls and ramen got its start in May 2021, according to Facebook posts at the time. The restaurant from Jay Jung replaced his Little Korea concept at the Medical Mile Plaza location, Feast Magazine reported in 2021.
Elsewhere in Springfield, Jung's Omo Japanese Soul Food is amid a relocation to a new home in Chesterfield Village, according to past reporting.
Bambinos Cafe is getting a refresh. The goal of the project is to expand the parking lot, dining areas and kitchen of the Phelps Grove neighborhood eatery.
