Bass Pro Shops reeled in another celebrity for its annual Branson-area golf tournament.

Musician and actor Justin Timberlake is scheduled to join returning celebrities Mark Wahlberg and Kid Rock, among others, at the April 24-28 Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge, hosted at Johnny Morris’ golf courses in Ridgedale, according to a news release.

“Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf is all about having a good time and showcasing the natural beauty of the Ozarks to golf fans from around the world,” said Morris, the founder of Bass Pro and Big Cedar, in the release. “We’re fired up to welcome Justin to Big Cedar Lodge to provide him and our fans with an experience unlike any other.”

Timberlake, who’s said to be an avid golfer and sports fan, is scheduled to compete on April 27 in the inaugural Legends Competition and on April 28 in the third-annual Celebrity Legends Shootout. Timberlake will play in the Legends Competition with Wahlberg and Kid Rock, as well as pro golfers Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Lee Trevino. He’ll play with the same people during the Celebrity Legends Shootout.

The tournament kicks off with the April 24-25 Legends of Golf Pro-Am, which will feature former Mayor League Baseball pitcher Roger Clemens and country music stars Luke Combs and Tracy Lawrence. The main event, the 50-and-older Legends bracket starting April 26, will include the first professional round of golf played at the new Ozarks National course designed by golf architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, according to the release.

Last year’s Legends of Golf at Big Cedar tournament was won by the team of Kirk Triplett and Paul Broadhurst. They took home $171,000 apiece.
