U.S. District Judge George O'Toole in Boston has temporarily blocked the Trump's administration federal worker buyout program.
The program is blocked until at least Monday, when O'Toole will hear from unions that are challenging the initiative.
The deadline for federal workers to decide on the buyout had been scheduled for end of day on Thursday. Reuters reports more than 60,000 federal employees already accepted the buyout.
