A longtime employee of Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY) has been promoted to a vice president role.
Vance Sherard was named vice president of investor relations, according to a news release issued this morning. A 25-year company veteran, he's led investor relations for the company on a director level since 2015.
"Vance has a broad array of experiences, extensive industry and company knowledge, highly valued strategic vision and outstanding financial and analytical skills," Jack Henry Chief Financial Officer Mimi Carsley said in the release. "He is a proven leader who has been a key driver of our company's success for many years."
During his time at Jack Henry, Sherard has held roles in sales, corporate development and finance.
The investor relations department provides company information to investors. The investor relations portal at Jack Henry includes company financial reports and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing notices.
"I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with so many great people over the years, including our shareholders and analysts, and I look forward to continuing these conversations on Jack Henry's extraordinary history and future," Sherard said in the release.
Jack Henry on June 30 ended fiscal 2022 with net income of $362.9 million, a 17% increase from a year earlier, according to past reporting.
JKHY shares were trading at $189.35 as of 8:37 a.m., compared with a 52-week range of $147.50 to $212.62 per share.
