Integrity Pharmacy purchased by Virginia company

Springfield-based Integrity Pharmacy LLC has been acquired by a Virginia company.

Clarest Health announced the acquisition Nov. 2, according to a news release sent yesterday to Springfield Business Journal by FORVIS LLP. FORVIS Capital Advisors LLC, a subsidiary of the public accounting business, represented Integrity during the transaction, said FORVIS spokesperson Mike Brothers.

The financial terms of the acquisition by Clarest Health were undisclosed in the release. Clarest separately announced in the same release the purchase of CSS Health, which has headquarters in Tampa, Florida, and Buffalo, New York.

“Our goal at Clarest Health is to shift our role from reactive to proactive patient care, positioning our business as the leader in personalized medication management,” Clarest CEO Hammad Shah said in the release. "Our recent addition of CSS Health and Integrity Pharmacy will bring three industry experts together to create a truly holistic pharmacy solution that follows patients through each step of their care."

Now a division of Clarest, Integrity Pharmacy manages patient medications through a custom management system.

Brothers said the seller was a group of eight individual investors in southwest Missouri – including Marcus Wilson, the former Integrity Pharmacy president who now serves as a division leader for Clarest.

Integrity Pharmacy started as a subsidiary of Integrity Home Care in 2008, according to past reporting.

Separately, Integrity Home Care sold a majority stake this year to Bayada Home Health Care, according to past reporting, and yesterday it began utilizing the Bayada operating system locally.
