“You have to determine if telecommuting or remote work and those things are going to work for you,” says Mailyn Jeffries, Human Resources Director for Greene County Missouri. Jeffries says the trend is to move away from a 9am to 5pm workday, allowing employees to use a schedule of their own design. She says one advantage is people can work at their peak times, but it’s a big shift for larger organizations.
