Project description: Morelock-Ross project manager David Ross said the facility comprises two separate gyms each with two basketball and three volleyball courts. The facility also features a full kitchen, arcade, party rooms and Avashare Audio and Video equipment that allows visitors to watch televised sporting events between games, Ross said. The project is the brainchild of dermatologist Dr. Craig Naugle, who formed Midwest Events Center to purchase the land in fall 2011, and facility operators Mike Edwards and Steve Reith, co-owners of sports tournament company Hoops Midwest. In August, the trio said the facility is designed to meet area demand for youth basketball and volleyball leagues and tournaments.
