Project description: Another 55-plus living community by TLC Properties is scheduled to open to tenants June 1, said Marketing Director Angela Frizell. Monarch Apartments, on the west side of Campbell Avenue at Sunset Street, is designed with 112 units, ranging from micro-studios to three bedrooms. With monthly rent ranging $550-$1,700, Frizell said TLC Properties has received applications for 10% of available occupancy as of mid-January. Complex features include a mini-golf course, saltwater pool and hot tub, garages and smart-home capabilities. In 2019, TLC opened senior-living properties Veranda Vistas and Coryell Commons Heights in southwest Springfield.
