Project description: Crews earlier this year cleared a wooded lot to make way for the third building in Magers Crossing. The development, which started in spring 2017, already spans 42,000 square feet across two buildings built for roughly $3.5 million, with tenants including Great American Taco Co., The Roost Bar & Grill, SWET Hot Yoga and Fitness Studio, Edward Jones, Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care and Hudson Hawk Barber & Shop. Magers Crossing now owns about 9 acres at the southeast corner of Republic Road and Cox Avenue. According to the listing by SVN Rankin Co. LLC, the third building is designed with up to eight suites, leasing for $18-$20 per square foot. Listing agent Arch Watson said there are no signed tenants yet for the new building. The property was rezoned earlier this year to general retail from single-family residential, following Magers Crossing owner Randy Magers’ acquisition of an adjacent parcel, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
