Project description: Two municipal buildings are going up on a nearly 5-acre parcel near the U.S. Highway 65 and Industrial Park Drive interchange in Hollister. City Administrator Rick Ziegenfuss said a 9,490-square-foot building will be shared by its Police and Public Works departments. Brandi Bailey, vice president of strategic development at Snyder Construction Group, said features include conference rooms, training spaces, two holding cells, an evidence room and locker rooms. Ziegenfuss said an 11,915-square-foot building on the property will be used by city maintenance crews. It has a vehicle lift for repair work and an upgraded ventilation system, he said. Ziegenfuss also said there’s room for future expansion of the building.
