Project description: Washington-based Grizzly Industrial Inc., which sells woodworking and metalworking machinery and a variety of power tools, is expanding its distribution center in Springfield. The site on Battlefield Road is near the company’s retail location at the corner of Battlefield Road and Kansas Expressway. Robert McCoy, president of Grizzly Industrial, said the additional space will allow the company to increase inventory and bring on additional products, according to past reporting. McCoy also said additional phases of expansion are planned in the next five years. Grizzly also recently completed a 2,000-square-foot expansion to its showroom.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
