Project description: The 10,225-square-foot building will serve as a transitional living home for boys who are aging out of foster care and residential facilities but aren’t ready to live on their own, said Julie Conway, director of development and public relations at Good Samaritan Boys Ranch. The home will have 20 bedrooms, as well as training, laundry, dining, kitchen and common areas. The nonprofit has raised $300,000 to help cover construction costs and is seeking additional donations, Conway said. The organization has $200,000 available in youth opportunity tax credits from the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
