Project description: A Firestone Complete Auto Care is on its way to the south side at the intersection of South Campbell Avenue and West Weaver Road. Firestone stores are operated by Nashville, Tennessee-based Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Bridgestone Corp. The location will be Springfield’s fourth Firestone Complete Auto Care shop, joining two locations on South Glenstone Avenue and one on West Sunshine Street. Firestone shops offer auto repair and maintenance including oil changes, brakes, batteries, alignment and transmission, and they sell a variety of tire brands, according to Firestone/Bridgestone spokesperson Leslie Boehms.
