Product description: A Muslim worship and community center is being built north of Sunshine Street on 5.5-acres owned by the founding members of the American Momin Park nonprofit. The mosque will include separate men’s and women’s prayer rooms, a library and full kitchen with dining halls, according to American Momin Park President Sultan Zahirsha. The two-story mosque will have motion sensors, security cameras and remote monitoring for security. A 1,000-plot Muslim cemetery was also approved for the park and is under development. Zahirsha said the project’s second phase will be the construction of a 4,000-square-foot community hall to hold meetings and weddings and a 10,000-square-foot Islamic school.
