Digital Monitoring Products Inc. is placing an increased focus on retention with sweeping employee raises.
CEO Rick Britton yesterday informed employees that each would receive a $3,000 increase in annual salary, according to a news release. With 360 employees, the raises represent an investment of more than $100,000 per month, said Mark Hillenburg, vice president of marketing for DMP. That equates to more than $1 million per year.
“We have had two great years of growth, and the people who work here truly are our secret weapon,” he said in the release. “One of the best ways to keep our company growing is to recognize our people.”
The manufacturer of electronics security and monitoring products also is in recruitment mode for its Partnership Industrial Center plant.
Hiring fairs are scheduled July 14 and Aug. 5, according to the release. Hillenburg said the company has 50 openings to fill at the events.
