Four of the residences listed last month have asking prices exceeding $1 million. At $3.5 million, the highest-priced home of the month is at 4156 E. Division St. in northeast Springfield.

The average sale price in August for homes in the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors' service area was $311,831, up from $298,695 in the same month of 2023. There were 577 units sold last month, down from 621 in August 2023, according to data from the GSBOR.

The latest Missouri Realtors association data indicates the average statewide residential sale price for July was $319,961, a 4.1% increase year over year. There was a 5% increase in residential properties sold, at 6,979 in July.
