The highest-priced home of the month, at 6148 S. Hampton Ave., has a listing price of $995,000. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home, with nearly 4,500 square feet, is newly constructed in the Anthony Park housing development in south Springfield.

The latest Greatest Springfield Board of Realtors data shows an average October sale price of $302,202, up from $294,934 in the same month last year. The same number of units sold, at 502, in GSBOR's service area.

Statewide, the latest data from the Missouri Relators industry group points to a $315,339 average sale price in September, a 3.2% increase year over year. Realtors sold 6,114 residential properties in September, a 0.4% increase from the same month in 2023.
