Convoy of Hope is among the top U.S. charities in a recently published list by Forbes.
The international humanitarian relief organization ranked No. 48 out of 100 charities on the list released last month. Forbes based the rankings on the most recently reported fiscal year for each charity showing private contributions.
Forbes reports private donations of $363 million for Convoy of Hope, with $369 million in revenue. The nonprofit's fundraising efficiency is 96% and its charitable commitment is 92%, according to the list.
“This honor is a direct result of the people who support Convoy of Hope's mission in the United States and around the world," said Ethan Forhetz, Convoy of Hope vice president of public engagement, via email. "With more than 1.5 million nonprofit organizations in the United States, it is a huge honor for Convoy to make the list again this year – and, for the first time ever, crack the Top 50."
Convoy of Hope first made the list in 2019 with a ranking of No. 82, moving to No. 75 in 2020 and No. 48 in 2021.
The top 100 U.S. charities reported a 10% increase in private donations to an aggregate $54.4 billion, according to Forbes.
