The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce's directors nominating committee has seven candidates to consider for the organization's board of directors.
The committee nominated candidates who range in industry from health care to automotive and education to information technology, according to a news release. The candidates will serve three-year terms on the chamber board, pending potential petitions for other directors by the general membership.
The nominees are :
• Erin Danastasio, The Hatch Foundation;
• Thomas Douglas, JMark Business Solutions;
• Sally Hargis, Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Co.;
• Hal Higdon, Ozarks Technical Community College;
• Craig McCoy, Mercy Springfield Communities;
• Stephanie O'Connor, City Utilities of Springfield; and
• Shari Reaves, O'Reilly Automotive Inc.
Helping people is the foremost purpose in business for Angela Stephens. The idea for Re-Focus the Creative Office was born to help her son, Drake Stephens, who had started struggling in school in fifth grade.

I sure wish the Chamber of Commerce was an “America First” organization but unfortunately and surprisingly unknown to many small business owners that the COC are pro illegal immigration and amnesty for the 40 million illegals already here. They love that cheap labor.
