Springfield, MO
Bryan Properties LLC yesterday announced the appointment of a chief operating officer.
Ron Davis, spokesperson for the property manager and developer, said Ericka Peppers is the first person to hold the role at the company. An employee since October 2019, Peppers previously handled company operations, and officials decided to expand her position as the business has grown "to formalize the role and responsibilities," Davis added.
“Ericka has quite simply been a game-changer for Bryan Properties,” said Brad Gebhard, chief financial officer, in a news release. “Her work ethic and drive are contagious and will propel the company to new heights for years to come.”
Peppers oversees operations for a company with “hundreds of properties” in the Ozarks and more than 150 employees, said Davis. Its Springfield properties include the Bear Village apartment complex near Missouri State University.
Peppers, who has a bachelor's in media from Evangel University, previously worked as general manager at Aspen Springfield, according to the release.
“I am honored to join the leadership of Bryan Properties in this capacity,” Peppers said in the release. “I am humbled at the opportunity to help lead an already incredible organization into the future. I am hopeful that with my commitment to a strong work ethic and my dedication to raising the bar, we will see Bryan Properties grow to its greatest potential.”
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.
