The Better Business Bureau has announced five Springfield-area businesses will be honored at an awards luncheon later this month in the Queen City.

BBB Springfield plans to present its Torch Awards for Ethics to the companies, as well as a Student of Ethics Award to a local high schooler, during an Oct. 23 event at The Old Glass Place, 521 St. Louis St.

“We’re looking forward to honoring these businesses and a student for the positive impact they’re having on their customers and communities,” said Pamela Hernandez, BBB Springfield regional director, in a news release. “Not only are they committed to exceptional service and high ethics, but they’re encouraging others to follow their lead.”

The five companies who will be recognized for their commitment to exceptional ethics and service are:

• Branson/Springfield Roof Co. LLC. The family-owned business provides roofing installation and repairs, as well as other exterior needs like gutters and siding, to consumers and businesses in southwest Missouri.

“We have worked hard to provide quality roofing products and excellent customer service,” said owner Daniel Koren, in the release. “We are so grateful for this recognition of those efforts, and we look forward to continuing our contribution to make our communities better by giving back with time and finances.”

• Dale’s Roofing Inc. The company has served customers in the Ozarks for over 30 years with residential and commercial roofing repair, replacement and maintenance.

“We’re grateful to be recognized by the BBB for the hard work and experience that we put into our business,” said owner Dale Rector, in the release.

• Friga Construction Co. Inc. The venture has been in business for nearly four decades, providing quality commercial building construction in southwest Missouri.

“We are very humbled and honored to be selected as a winner for the BBB Torch Award for Ethics,” said Eric Friga, president and CEO, in the release. “It is an accomplishment that showcases our true dedication in trying to maintain the high standards of the BBB.”

• Julian’s Heating and Air LLC. The locally- and family-owned HVAC business serves Rogersville and surrounding communities.

“Julian’s Heating and Air LLC is deeply honored to receive the Torch Award for Ethics, as it reflects our unwavering commitment to integrity and excellence in service,” said co-owner Holly Julian, in the release. “This recognition reinforces our dedication to building trust within the community and setting high ethical standards in the HVAC industry.”

• Top Tier Kitchens & Baths. The remodeling company helps customers in southwest Missouri with kitchen or bath remodels through design, installation and more.

“All the effort we put into treating our customers and employees correctly has been recognized, and it feels wonderful,” said owner Ben Berger, in the release. “It’s a great benefit for us to stand out from our competition and offer a legitimate solution to our customers’ problems that they can trust – and hopefully we can help more of them in the future.”

Additionally, at the luncheon, Anna Claire Ross, a student at Glendale High School, will be honored with the Student of Ethics Award and receive a $2,500 scholarship.

Christine Morton, a social media strategist and owner of Morton Marketing 417 LLC, will be the keynote speaker at the event to be emceed by Blake Haynes, co-host and producer of Ozarks Live.
