Arvest Bank Springfield hired a successor to outgoing three-year President Rodney Shepard.
Effective June 2, Brad Crain will take over the top role at Arvest's Queen City operations. Crain has served as an executive vice president for Arvest, director of sales for its asset management group and a director for its investment management group. Since 2006, he has managed investment sales initiatives in Kansas City and throughout Oklahoma, according to a news release.
“Brad brings a broad level of knowledge, experience and energy to this position. His passion for serving customers and the community will be invaluable to our continued growth in the Springfield area,” said Scott Grigsby, regional president for Arvest, in the release. “Brad is excited to lead our efforts here and to begin working hard to make a positive difference in the communities we serve.”
Before joining Arvest, Crain worked as a senior vice president for SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, where he managed 32 relationship and portfolio managers serving some 350 nonprofit organizations with assets of over $24 billion.
Shepard starts as president and CEO of Arvest Bank's Fort Smith market on June 1.
Arvest entered the Springfield market in 2007 and operates 13 branches in the region, six of which were acquired last year from Bank of America, according to the release.[[In-content Ad]]
