Arby’s franchisee Flynn Restaurant Group LLC is investing millions of dollars in its Ozarks’ properties.
The company announced plans to spend $6.3 million renovating 18 restaurants in Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas. The list of locations includes stores in Branson, Carthage, Joplin, Lebanon, Neosho, Nixa and Ozark.
The release did not indicate how much of the investment would funnel to Springfield-area stores, and company officials could not be reached for comment by deadline.
“We want to continue showing our commitment to the communities we serve, and these remodels are just one way for us to do so," said Randy Bates, head of marketing for Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Flynn Restaurant Group, in the release.
The company plans to add more than 275 jobs through the renovation plans.
The renovations will update the restaurants with such design features as upgraded exteriors, multicolored wood materials, lighting and chalkboard graphics, according to the release.
Renovations are expected to wrap up by year's end.
