Andy’s Frozen Custard is growing its investment in NASCAR.
The Springfield-based frozen custard chain, which first became a sponsor in the professional racing league four years ago, inked a multiyear sponsorship deal with Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, according to a news release. The length of the deal and financial terms were not disclosed.
As part of the sponsorship deal, Andy's Frozen Custard will be sold to thousands of Texas Motor Speedway attendees starting in May.
Andy's additionally renewed its sponsorship of driver Austin Dillon in the NASCAR Cup Series, which debuts June 13 at Texas Motor Speedway. Andy's began sponsoring Dillon in 2017.
Texas represents a growth market for Andy's, according to the release. With 21 stores, the state has nearly 25% of the company's locations and more are in development.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
