Andy B’s Tiki Bar opens at Branson Landing

Andy B’s Entertainment and Bowling Centers is expanding its brand with a new outdoor bar concept at Branson Landing.

Andy B’s Tiki Bar, 433 Promenade Way, opened Oct. 2 adjacent to Saltgrass Steak House and Joe’s Crab Shack off the north court of the outdoor retail center. The 75-seat cocktail bar overlooks Lake Taneycomo, said Trevor Collins, Andy B’s director of marketing.

“It’s primarily a brand extension of our Andy B’s location,” Collins said of Andy B’s Bowl Social, a 19,000-square-foot venue that opened at Branson Landing in November 2018.

The Springfield-based company was established in 1988 and operates family entertainment and bowling centers in a four-state region of Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Tennessee, according to its website.

Collins declined to disclose the new bar’s startup costs or lease terms with HCW Development LLC, which owns Branson Landing.

“As far as the Andy B’s brand, I don’t think this is a concept we would be looking to expand in other markets, but is really kind a of pet project we were excited about partnering with HCW for the Branson market,” he said.

The menu includes beer, hard seltzer and several tiki-inspired cocktails, such as the pin killer with pineapple juice, lime juice, coconut cream and rum. Drink prices range $5-$10.

The bar will remain open through year’s end, Collins said, but it could temporarily close during a portion of the winter, depending on the weather. That decision will be made in the coming months, with a grand opening planned next spring, he said.

At the time Bowl Social opened in Branson, it was the 11th location for Andy B’s Entertainment and Bowling Centers, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting. Collins said the company now operates 10 centers, noting one closed in 2019 near Memphis, Tennessee. Expansion opportunities are currently under consideration, he said, declining to disclose potential markets.
