Rachel Fuhrman, 39, has an eye for growth, and she fosters it wherever she goes. As paralegal manager at Jack Henry & Associates Inc., she supports her team through training and advocacy to ensure professional quality of life. She is also proud to have 10 years of involvement with Junior League of Springfield, Missouri Inc., where she is now president.
“Together, we are leading in the management of an organization consisting of over 400 members who will collectively contribute hundreds of hours of community service in Springfield and surrounding communities and thousands of dollars of community grants this year,” she says.
She has spent six years on the board for Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland and four years for Missouri Paralegal Association. Her civic involvement also includes the Ozarks Literacy Council and Isabel’s House.
Proudest moment? The day my daughter was born. Parenthood is both one of the hardest and most rewarding journeys.
Best piece of advice you’ve received? You don’t have to show up to every argument you’re invited to. Easier said than done sometimes!
Favorite TV show and book? “The Small and the Mighty” by Sharon McMahon and “The Traitors.”
Favorite local food order? Vegetable malai kofta at Taj Mahal.
