It’s one thing to be an accountant, but it’s another to wholly dedicate your career to public accounting and all that entails in terms both professional accomplishments and civic leadership.
Kyle Miller, 35, is grateful for the support he’s received in his 12 years at Forvis Mazars – his entire career – which he says “pushed me toward success.” And he has rewarded that with focus and initiative. His grant management leadership during COVID-19 led him to build relationships with county leaders that resulted in five new county contracts and helping launch a new public sector grant management service for the firm.
Miller has served on the Champions Committed to Kids board since 2018 and is a finance committee member of the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield. He is also a career coach at Forvis Mazars.

Best celebrity meeting/sighting story? While boarding a plane in Pittsburgh, a co-worker and I recognized ESPN’s Mike Greenberg; my co-worker tagged Greenberg in a tweet about it while sitting on the tarmac and Greenberg replied with: “Could have just said hi.” All fun and games until the plane deboarded for repairs and we got to awkwardly sit directly across from Greenberg for two hours while they repaired the plane.

Favorite local food order? A tie between the Jurassic Park roll at Haruno and the Dr. Jones (chicken parmesan) with flash fried spinach at Retro Metro.
