QPS Employment Group Inc.

Posted online

As branch manager of QPS Employment Group, Josh Clair, 39, has cultivated an environment of empowerment and recognition. For Clair, being a leader is more than just being in charge. It’s about showing his employees that he is willing to work alongside them. He not only supports them but recognizes them for their accomplishments. Clair has worked with client companies that QPS partners with to create staff retention plans, reduce turnover and improve their hiring processes, and he works with several nonprofit partners to aid applicants using the tools and resources necessary for them to be successful. Clair has assisted various companies and nonprofits in providing employment workshops, job fairs and hiring events, including Victory Mission, Alpha House, New Beginnings Sanctuary and I Pour Life.

Proudest moment? The training and development of two of my recruiters. One of them was promoted to a management position and took over another office in the company. One of them moved on to a human resources role and is thriving as an HR generalist at her company today.

Favorite TV show? “24” and “Reacher.”

Favorite hobby or creative outlet? I am a musician, so my outlets are playing and listening to music.

Favorite local food order? Huhot: grill meal loaded with Chinese noodles, rice, cilantro, potatoes, jalapenos, beef, spicy sausage, onions and overflowing with Bekter’s Ginger and Burn Your Village Barbeque sauces. Top it all off with red pepper flakes and some egg rolls and you just can’t go wrong!
