2025 40 Under 40: Brynna Lindner

City of Ozark

Posted online

Brynna Lindner’s law career has been all about having a positive impact on individuals and her community. As the new assistant city attorney for Ozark, she’s excited to do even more.

In her role, Lindner, 39, handles complex civic matters and works on myriad projects, such as the Chadwick Flyer Trail connecting Ozark and Springfield, to honor the area’s natural beauty and support economic growth. She also will step in as municipal prosecutor for the city.

She previously worked as an attorney with MRD Lawyers and Stone County. She gives back with membership in the Society of Ozarkian Hillcrofters, which promotes land conversation, protects native wildlife and celebrates local historical figures, sites and traditions.

Lindner is respected as an always-available mentor to young law professionals and is a longtime advocate for substance abuse treatment and courts.

“I absolutely believe treatment courts save lives,” she says.

What historical figure do you identify with? Rose O’Neill, an effortlessly cool artist who resided in northern Taney County. My kids and I visit her homestead and family cemetery often and find it very peaceful.

Favorite podcast? Crimes of the Centuries. It is fascinating to view impactful events of the past through the lens of true crime.

Favorite local food order? Andy’s Frozen Custard, especially while I was pregnant. By the way, I named my daughter Andi!
