2020 Most Influential Women

Posted online

Editor’s Note: If there’s one constant in 2020, it’s change. And this year’s class of Most Influential Women honorees have shown that harnessing change can transform a community. From shifting a district of 25,000 students to virtual learning and advocating for policy to protect the community’s health to finding innovative ways to serve the people who are homeless and becoming a voice for LGBTQ people, these women have shown us what they are made of – and it’s tough stuff.

To borrow the iconic words of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, these women most certainly “belong in all places where decisions are being made.” This community is better because they are in it.

Congratulations to the 2020 class of MIW honorees.
