$160K donation issued to Convoy for Ida relief

Posted online

Two Men and a Truck is sending aid to areas hit by Hurricane Ida via Convoy of Hope.

The Lansing, Michigan-based moving company announced a $160,000 grant to be presented today to the Springfield humanitarian nonprofit, according to a news release.

"The contributions will continue Two Men and a Truck's commitment to moving people forward," officials said in the release.

Two Men and a Truck locally is represented by Grant Hornbuckle and Clint Bergman, who own a franchise in the Queen City, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.

The moving company follows Bass Pro Shops and its Cabela's subsidiary in donating to Convoy of Hope's Ida relief efforts. Bass Pro last week announced a donation of $50,000 worth of supplies.

Convoy of Hope began delivering supplies late last month after the hurricane made landfall in Louisiana.
