Is it Safe to cruise right now?

Posted online

I cannot think of a better way to make amazing memories right now! Between cruise companies' efforts like testing and vaccination requirements, reduced passenger capacity, and re-designed food service, the industry has invested millions to make sure you will cruise safely. Cruise lines go to great lengths to support the health and safety of all onboard. From cleaning practices to passenger screening and robust oversight over onboard health and safety practices, the cruise industry is one of the most heavily regulated industries in the world. Of course, as with all travel, please contact your trusted travel advisor for the best guide to the company/ship/destination that fits your needs and if you have a health concern, please speak to your doctor. When you are ready, it will be easy to set sail again! Whether your comfort level is staying domestic by cruising the rivers of America, cruising to Alaska, NYC, & southern coasts, by hitting the islands of the Caribbean and Bahamas or enjoying the rivers of Europe and the Mediterranean Sea, I am seeing a high demand. As the countries around the world continue to open their borders we will see more and more destinations. Are you safer on a Cruise Ship? Or in your local grocery store? Vaccination rates are far higher on cruise ships. The range is 90-100% depending on the line. Your local grocery store does not require proof of vaccination and a negative COVID test to enter. COVID-19 testing is more rigorous on ships and required. Mask-wearing is more common on ships than in your local establishments.
