How can we increase trust in our organization?

Many factors contribute to a high trust culture, but one habit diminishes trust quickly: failure to keep promises. The leadership behavior is appeasing, instead of speaking honestly about what’s possible. For example, saying, “I’ll get back to you” and then not scheduling an appointment or agreeing rather than engaging in difficult conversations. The first place to start is awareness. Find out what’s happening that should not be happening. The second step is to make your word golden and do what you say you are going to do.
