Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg yesterday faced an hourslong hearing before two Senate panels.
In all, 42 senators questioned Zuckerberg in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
The Facebook CEO repeatedly apologized and promised privacy reforms on the social media network.
“It’s clear now that we didn’t do enough to prevent these tools from being used for harm as well,” Zuckerberg said. “And that goes for fake news, foreign interference in elections and hate speech, as well as developers and data privacy.”
