Project description: O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC is creating an unconventional event space on the north side. Moon Town Crossing is designed by Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective in the craftsman style, featuring hand-carved wood by Amish company Ozark Timber Frame, according to O’Reilly Hospitality officials. Resembling a barn, it’s going up at the northwest corner of Interstate 44 and Glenstone Avenue, in between O’Reilly Hospitality’s Macadoodles store and its Holiday Inn Express & Suites that’s also under construction. The event center is expected to open around the same time as the new hotel.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
