After launching its $6.6 million capital campaign in May, Cox College has raised more than $2 million. Springfield accounting firm BKD LLP’s foundation recently donated $15,000 toward the fundraiser that would bring facility improvements to the college. Honorable Service
Over 80 veterans board a flight at Springfield-Branson National Airport to Washington, D.C., for an Honor Flight of the Ozarks trip Aug. 29. Twelve of the accompanying guardians were College of the Ozarks students and two were staff members of the college. The group visited sites of historic and patriotic significance. Since its inception, the national Honor Flight Network has flown more than 138,817 veterans to Washington, D.C.
