Cox College’s revitalization project receives a boost in funding with a $1 million matching grant from the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation Inc. The donation aides the college’s $6.6 million campaign goal to renovate its five-story campus adjacent to Cox North. To receive the funds, the school must raise $1 million in matching funds in the next year.

Missouri Care celebrates the grand opening of its new Springfield location Oct. 18. The organization, which provides access to health care for families through MO HealthNet, has opened five offices this year and employs 150 statewide, serving about 314,000 members. The 6,580-square-feet facility in Springfield employs 13.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
