Verizon Communications Inc. is cutting 10,400 employees in 2019, the company announced.
Officials with the New York-based telecommunications corporation say 10,400 U.S. employees accepted a voluntary buyout.
The employees will receive up to 60 weeks of salary, bonus and benefits, depending on how long they've worked for Verizon.
