Last edited 1:26 p.m., Feb. 23, 2012To accommodate its increasing staff needs, the six-month-old Springfield branch of USA Mortgage is relocating to 1525 E. Republic Road, Ste. B, an office roughly double the size of its current space.
“Our expansion reflects the accelerating growth of the company and our commitment to serving an ever-expanding number of clients in the most efficient possible way,” said Don Carriker, production manager, in a news release. “The new space will also enable us to accommodate the inevitable growth we foresee in the near future with room for several more loan officers.”
The 5,200-square-foot office is scheduled to open March 5. The site formerly was home to Brown and Wagner Mortgage Inc., which was co-owned by Steve Wagner, who now serves as operations manager for the Springfield office of USA Mortgage. Brown and Wagner was absorbed by Liberty Bank in 2009, according to
Springfield Business Journal archives.
The Springfield office of St. Louis-based USA Mortgage
opened Sept. 1 at 1717 E. Republic Road, Ste. D, and it has since tripled its staff to 12. That figure includes seven producers hired in February, four of which came from Gorman & Gorman Home Loans, two from Regent Financial Group Inc. and one from Southern Missouri Bank of Marshfield, said Christy Redmond of St. Louis-based Casey Communications Inc., a media representative for the company.
Wagner said in the release that the Springfield branch - the ninth branch of USA Mortgage, a subsidiary of DAS Acquisition Co. LLC - is planning additional hires.
USA Mortgage offers mortgage and conventional loans, Veterans Affairs loans, Federal Housing Administration loans and Housing and Urban Development 203(k) acquisition and rehabilitation loans.
Since opening, the Springfield branch has closed on 98 loans, according to Redmond.[[In-content Ad]]
