Consistency is a key tenet of U.S. Bank’s core operating procedures. The bank has generated industry leading financial performance over the past decade. U.S. Bank also boasts the highest debt rating in the industry, which not only attests to the soundness of the bank but also allows U.S. Bank to acquire funds less expensively than its competitors and allows those savings to be passed along to customers.

U.S. Bank’s dedication to doing the right thing has made it one of the most stable, reputable banks in the industry. As a testament to that dedication to doing the right thing, Ethisphere, an independent organization that recognizes businesses that set and maintain the highest of ethical standards, has designated U.S. Bank one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies” for three years running.

U.S. Bank has also been named as one of MONEY’s “Best Banks” and Fortune Magazine has named U.S. Bank as the most admired super-regional bank for seven consecutive years.

Customer Service First and Foremost

“If we always strive to do the right thing and what is best for our customers, the numbers will take care of themselves,” says Steve Fox, U.S. Bank Regional President.

The banking business may be based on numbers, but U.S. Bank advocates for the dreams, ambitions, and best interests of their customers.

“Banking is a relationship-based business and trust is a critically important component that must exist to have a mutually beneficial relationship,” says Fox. “We are a customer-service based business first and foremost.”

Service Offerings

In addition to the retail branch network operating through five districts throughout southwest Missouri, U.S. Bank offers services including:

• Commercial lending and treasury management

• Wealth management including trust, private banking, investments, and financial planning

• Mortgage lending

Other capabilities include:

• International banking and foreign exchange

• Capital markets, including private placements and interest rate hedging

U.S. Bank also owns Elavon, one of the largest credit card processing companies in the world.

A Commitment to Community Involvement

The Southern Missouri Region is part of the Community Banking group within U.S. Bank. Operating as a community bank with local management and decision-making, the local region consists of 72 branches with over 550 employees, covering the southern half of Missouri, roughly south of I-70.

U.S. Bank is committed to making the communities it serves better places to live and consistently shows that with not only financial support, but also volunteer efforts. In fact, employees are given up to two paid days off annually to volunteer at local non-profits of their choice.

U.S. Bank’s community investment platform is centered on work, home, and play. By focusing on this core, U.S. Bank’s philanthropic and volunteer efforts can have a greater impact on the building blocks of thriving communities, building blocks that include stable employment opportunities, home ownership, and a community connected through culture, recreation, and play.

Through U.S. Bank Foundation grants and charitable contributions, more than $250,000 was awarded to local non-profits in 2016. U.S. Bank also supported family-friendly events through sponsorship, and its employees volunteered numerous hours in their communities throughout 2016.

Some of the organizations supported by this funding and volunteerism include:

• Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Ozarks, Inc

• Boy Scouts of America

• Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield, Inc

It truly is a privilege to work with them and watch what they can accomplish.”
