Trump reportedly 'anxious' about possible recession

President Donald Trump reportedly has spoke privately on how he's "anxious" about a possible recession.

Trump, according to the reports, has expressed concern that a looming recession would negatively impact his chances of re-election in 2020.

"He's rattled," a Republican close to the administration told The Washington Post. "He thinks that all the people that do this economic forecasting are a bunch of establishment weenies — elites who don't know anything about the real economy and they're against Trump."

In a tweet yesterday, Trump accused the "fake news media" of "doing everything they can to crash the economy" in order to harm his re-election efforts.
