Trump moves to impose tariffs on $50B of Chinese goods

President Donald Trump approved assessing tariffs on $50 billion worth of Chinese goods, people familiar with the matter told Dow Jones Newswires.

It's unclear when the tariffs will go into effect, according to the report.

Beijing has indicated it will impose an equal amount of tariffs on U.S. goods.
