Tomo Drug Testing expanded its presence in Indiana through the company’s first acquisition.
The Springfield-based company closed July 22 on the purchase of Drug and Alcohol Testing LLC, according to a news release issued this morning. Terms were not disclosed.
“We are pleased to continue our growth in Indiana through this acquisition,” said Mickey Moore, owner and CEO of Tomo Drug Testing, in the release. “We have proudly served court- and community-based programs there since 2015, and it is exciting to add our more traditional [transportation department], workplace and school testing services to the programs we offer there.”
Tomo Drug Testing on July 29 merged its Indianapolis office with Drug and Alcohol Testing’s location. The Indiana company’s previous owner, Mike Miller, is helping with the transition.
Formed in 1991 as Employee Screening Services, Tomo Drug Testing in 2018 made the annual fast-growth Inc. 5000 list, with 2017 revenue of $8.5 million representing a three-year increase of 238%.
