Taco Bell removing Naked Chicken Chalupa

Posted online
Despite the Naked Chicken Chalupa’s quick rise to fame, Taco Bell is discounting the “taco that broke the internet” much to the dismay of late-night eaters everywhere.

The Naked Chicken Chalupa, on the menu since late January, is on its way out sometime in March, according to the Irvine, California-based chain.

The Orange County Register reports it’s one of the shortest limited-time offers by Taco Bell.

The Naked Chicken Chalupa is a taco with a shell made out of spicy fried chicken, stuffed with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese and avocado ranch sauce.

The creation was first spotted at test stores in Kansas City.
