Syngenta completed its purchase of Floranova, a 40-year-old flower and vegetable seeds breeder based out of the United Kingdom.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to the Triad Business Journal.
“We are excited about the purchase which will help growers to manage changing consumers’ demand for a wider variety of crops to choose from,” said Michael Kester, head of flowers at Syngenta.
