U.S. stock markets experienced another rout on Thursday following Monday's meltdown.
On Thursday, the Dow Jones industrial average fell 1,033 points to 23,860. That was a 4 percent drop.
The S&P 500 fell 101 points, or 3.8 percent, and the Nasdaq index dropped 275 points, or 3.9 percent.
