The St. Louis Board of Aldermen on Friday approved $65 million in subsidies for the planned $220 million Ballpark Village expansion.
The 16-7 decision narrowly beat the 15 votes needed.
Expansion plans for the dining and entertainment district next to Busch Stadium call for a 29-story, 230-foot-tall luxury high-rise apartment tower, a new Class A office building and additional retail space.
