A development group is planning to turn the nearly vacant St. Louis Outlet Mall in Hazelwood into a sports complex.
Hazelwood City Council unanimously approved final terms and settlement agreements to forward the plans.
Big Sports Properties LLC wants to convert the mall, which announced its closure last month, into a youth sports complex called the Powerplex.
