Social Security checks could rise by most since 2012

A forecast by nonpartisan senior advocacy organization Senior Citizens League predicts Social Security checks could rise next year by the most they have since 2012.

The group is forecasting a 2.8 percent jump in 2019.

That would boost the average beneficiary’s check by $39 per month.
